The company offers a couple of Scripture memory apps including one specifically for kids with icons and pictures! Or create digital flashcards with an app like Quizlet. If you’re always on the go, reviewing verses on an app is a great way to use your free moments. I provide them with a notebook at the beginning of the year and they write the verses each day of the week.ĮVERY week they memorize 8-12 verses in a single passage, so it works well! 10. This is the main strategy my 6th graders use to memorize verses for our church’s Wednesday night program. Get out the colored pencils or markers and do some lettering while you’re at it! The act of writing something out helps your mind better remember and think through words. Write it outĪ simple memory verse activity is to write your verse in a journal or notebook.
